Discover the magic of storytelling through filmmaking in this hands-on 10-week class at Tempest Studio! Perfect for aspiring actors and filmmakers for all ages, our program will ignite creativity and teach the fundamentals of storytelling, acting, and production. Age Groups: • 5-7 years • 7-10 years • 10-13 years • 13-18 years • 18+ years What to Expect: • Learn from a Pro: Taught by Corey Beasley, owner of Spark Pixel Video Production, and an industry professional with experience on hit TV shows like Blacklist, Mr. Robot, FBI, and Bull • Watch & Analyze: Each week, we’ll watch a short scene and break it down to understand what makes it compelling. • Create & Collaborate: Using basic parameters, students will team up to create their own short films, acting in each other’s projects and experimenting with their unique interpretations. • Show & Tell: Get hands-on experience with professional film gear and learn how it’s used on real sets. • Review & Improve: We’ll screen the completed films, share constructive feedback, and celebrate growth as storytellers. Equipment: Students are encouraged to bring their own camera (iPhone, iPad, DSLR, etc.) and editing software. Don’t have one?
